About Ribath Hidayatul Qur'an
Asrama Hidayatul Qur'an was founded in December 2004 by Dr. H. M. Afifuddin Dimyathi, LC.MA. He is one of the inheritors of his father KH. A. Dimyati Romly, SH.'s spirit in harmonizing scholarly thought. After receiving blessings from his parents, he traveled to PP Sunan Pandanaran in Sleman, Yogyakarta, to seek the blessing and suggestions from his teacher, KH. Mufid Mas'ud. From three proposed names — Barokatul Qur'an, Syafaatul Qur'an, and Hidayatul Qur'an — the last was chosen. At the end of 2021, the name was updated to Ribath Hidayatul Quran (The Fortress of Quranic Guidance). It now has 33 male rooms and 36 female rooms with approximately 1,024 students.
To facilitate all student activities, Ribath Hidayatul Qur'an has complete facilities including a spacious prayer hall and roudhoh, an arts stage, music studio, school transportation. In 2021, additional facilities were built including the HQ Office for student administration and BQ Cooperative for student needs.
